PHI lost first baseman again… Hoskins and Hall also left injured

Philadelphia is facing another injury crisis.

MLB.com, the official homepage of Major League Baseball, announced on April 8 (Korean time) that the Philadelphia Palace registered first baseman Derek Hall on the injured list (IL).

According to MLB.com, Hall will undergo surgery to reconstruct the collateral ligament on the medial thumb of his right hand. The Philadelphia club has yet to disclose the exact schedule for Hall’s return. MLB.com said, “Bryce Harper missed two months in 2014 and Josh Harrison missed six weeks in 2015.” 스포츠토토

Philadelphia also lost a first baseman. Hall, born in 1995, who made his debut last year, is the starting first baseman in place of Rhys Hoskins, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture in his left knee during spring training. However, he was forced to leave due to an injury just one week into the opening season.

After losing two first basemen, Philadelphia called up Cody Clemens from Triple-A. Clemens, who debuted with the Detroit Tigers last year, was traded to Philadelphia in January along with Gregory Soto. Clemens hit .145/.197/.308 with 5 home runs and 17 RBIs in 57 games last year.
