Call for entries for the 2023 Gatorade 5vs5 Women’s Championship, kicking off on September 16 in Siheung, South Korea

Korea’s premier amateur futsal tournament, the 2023 Gatorade 5vs5 Women’s Tournament, will kick off at HM Futsal Park Siheung.

The tournament, organized by sports marketing company HNS and partnered by Gatorade, has successfully completed the first half of the tournament for middle school students, and the second half of the tournament for women will be held in a total of eight locations. Last year, a total of 136 teams and more than 3,400 female futsal enthusiasts participated in the largest national tournament in Korea, and this year, the tournament will be upgraded by introducing a secondary school competition.

The tournament is open to all members of the public who are not registered as players with the Korea Football Association. Regional qualifiers will be held in eight cities, including Siheung (Sept. 16), Pyeongtaek (Sept. 23), Seoul and Changwon (Oct. 7), Busan and Cheonan (Oct. 14), Jeonju and Ulsan (Oct. 28), with the top teams qualifying for the national championship and a total prize pool of KRW 23.4 million. Teams can apply for the tournament on the HM Futsal Park website. Applications have been filling up fast in the Seoul metropolitan area. The Seoul qualifiers are already full, and the Siheung and Pyeongtaek qualifiers are close to closing.
