Ansan Greeners (owner Lee Min-geun) strengthened support for the youth team by appointing youth general director Kim Yong-rae and scout Ham Ji-hwan.
First, Kim Yong-rae, the new youth director, will oversee Ansan’s youth system and play a role in strengthening Ansan’s future youth team. The youth director shares a consistent philosophy from the youth stage to the professional level of the club, and is in charge of setting the direction of football at the youth stage. The importance of youth directors is being emphasized to nurture young players and produce good players according to the club’s philosophy and direction.
The reason why Ansan introduced the new youth director system is to consistently operate the club’s youth teams, which lead to U-12, U-15, and U-18, with a long-term vision. This is a plan to produce good players in the club’s youth team and operate and strengthen it as a system that penetrates the team.
Kim Yong-rae, youth director, has experience in administration and guidance. He served as a technical member of the Korea Football Association’s Technical Development Committee and a technical member of the Korea Professional Football Federation’s TSG. In addition, he served as a professor at the Department of Football at Honam University, a lecturer at the Korea Football Association Leadership Class, and a lecturer at Chung-Ang University, Gachon University, and Sejong University, and accumulated various educational careers on football and systems.
Youth Director Kim Yong-rae served as Ansan’s professional team coach in 2020, and as Youth General Director, he oversees Ansan’s all-age youth (U-12, U-15, U-18) teams.
Youth director Kim Yong-rae plans to lead the club’s long-term youth system by establishing a consistent philosophy and direction for the Ansan youth system based on his understanding of the club and his experience accumulated through various thesis activities and research activities on soccer and the K-League.
In line with this, Ansan also appointed scout Ham Ji-hwan along with youth director Kim Yong-rae. The mission of scouting Ham Ji-hwan is to intensively nurture players fit for a professional career in youth and discover and produce competitive players who can easily adapt to the professional stage.
The reason for appointing scout Ham Ji-hwan is also because he has a high understanding of the club’s youth team. Scout Ham Ji-hwan started his leadership career as a U-15 coach at Jecheon Soccer Center in 2016, and then took over as Jecheon Soccer Center U-15 coach and U-18 coach. In 2022, he served as Ansan U-18 coach. As a U-18 coach, he advanced to the top split of the ‘K-League Junior Second Half League’ after 6 years of establishment and helped finish with the best performance since the founding of the youth team at the ‘2022 GROUND.NK League U18&17 and Under (U-17) Championship’. He has a lot of enthusiasm and experience for the youth team. 스포츠토토

Both Kim Yong-rae, youth director, and Ham Ji-hwan scout are excellent people, so we will grow the team with affection for the youth team,” he said of his long-term vision. .
